There’s a lot of smart stuff going on at the aptly-named Sage Ranch these days. The 1,000-acre site northeast of Temecula’s wine country is home to our new composting facility. By 2007, we’ll be ready to receive up to 260 tons of green waste — wood chips, plant clippings, branches, and sawdust — each day that we’ll then turn into humus-rich compost for landscape and agricultural uses. We love it when that happens.
